Which currencies are supported?
We currently support Euro (EUR) and US Dollar (USD). You can change the currency when viewing a paid plugin by clicking in the subscription box on the link to change the currency.
Which payment methods are supported?
You can purchase plugins with Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Paypal.

Can the plugins be used with the Free Matomo?
Yes, absolutely. You don’t need a special version of Matomo or so.
How do I find out if my Matomo is compatible with a plugin?
When you purchase a subscription for a plugin, a link to check whether your Matomo is compatible is displayed on top of the Cart. If you don’t know your Matomo version, read the FAQ What version of Matomo do I have?.
You can also find the requirements for each plugin at the bottom of a plugin page. For example it may show “Matomo >=2.16.0, < Matomo 3.0.0-b1” which means it requires at least Matomo 2.16.0, but it is not compatible with Matomo 3.
When a plugin is compatible with several major Matomo versions, for example compatible with Matomo 2 and Matomo 3, then at the very bottom of the plugin page there will be links displayed to let you open the plugin page for your selected major Matomo version.
Where do I find my license key?
The license key is shown directly after your complete your order in the order confirmation, and also sent to you in the email that confirms your order. If you don’t have them at hand, you can also log in to Your Account and go to “Downloads” to view and copy your license key.
Where do I download a purchased plugin?
To download a plugin either log in to Your Account and go to “Downloads”, or download the plugin directly with your license key from the Marketplace Download page.
How do I install or update a plugin?
A plugin can be directly installed and update within Matomo with just one click by using your license key. Read more about the different options for installing & updating plugins.
How do I upgrade a subscription?
To upgrade a subscription, log in to Your Account, click on “Subscriptions” and find the subscription you want to change. Select a subscription by clicking on “View” followed by “Upgrade” on the subscription detail page. You will now see the plugin page for that subscription where you can select the new subscription type. Once you have selected a different subscription type, click on “Add to cart” followed by “Proceed to checkout”. When the purchase has been finished, your subscription change is completed. When you upgrade a subscription, you will only pay for the difference between your current and your upgraded subscription.
Can I use one subscription on multiple Matomo / WordPress installations?
No, the license provided by Matomo Marketplace for all its premium plugins permits only the deployment of a single instance of the software in a Matomo production environment.
If, for example, you are using Matomo On-Premise and purchase a plugin subscription that is valid for 1-4 users, and have four Matomo installations with one user each, you need four separate subscriptions for each Matomo installation. If you are offering Matomo Hosting service (for example hosted in a cloud), you will need to purchase a separate subscription for each user / client. Read more about this in our subscription guide.
If, for example, you are using Matomo for WordPress and purchase a plugin subscription that is valid for up to 5 sites, and have four WordPress installations with one site each, you need four separate subscriptions for each WordPress installation. The up to 5 or 25 sites licenses are only valid on one WordPress MultiSite installation. Read more about this in our subscription guide.
If you are using the plugin on a production and on a staging or test server, a separate license for this Matomo might not be needed. One valid subscription can be used on an active Matomo instance and one test or one development Matomo instance. Read more about this in the subscription guide.

Are subscriptions auto renewed?
Subscriptions are automatically renewed, unless you choose to cancel the subscription during the subscription period. To manage your subscription and payment details, you can login at: Your Account.
What happens when I cancel a subscription?
When you cancel your subscription, the subscription stays active for the remaining time of the subscription, but it won’t be renewed. As soon as the time of the subscription is over, you won’t receive any updates for a purchased plugin anymore.
How do I cancel a subscription?
To cancel a subscription log in to Your Account, click on “Subscriptions” and find the subscription you want to cancel by clicking on “View”. On the subscription page click “Cancel”.
How do I remove or cancel an individual premium feature during the trial while keeping others?
Log in on your My-Account page and then on the “Subscription” page select the subscription you want to make changes to.
In the “Subscription totals” section you can remove an individual product. This way you can still keep using other premium features that are part of the same subscription. After the trial you won’t be charged for the removed product.
What is your refund policy?
We don’t have a refund policy. Instead, we have a 30 day free trial.

Is buying a plugin subscription a one-time charge?
When purchasing a Matomo subscription, you are purchasing a subscription to receive updates. Subscriptions are billed annually until you choose to cancel.
Can I buy plugins individually?
Yes, absolutely. You don’t have to buy a bundle or all plugins.
As a developer, can I sell plugins for Matomo on the Matomo Marketplace?
Yes! If you are a developer interested in selling your plugin(s) on our Marketplace please get in touch. Our marketplace allows other developers to sell their plugins to all Matomo Analytics users. As a developer selling plugins, you will get paid every month for your earnings, and you will be able to see detailed reports about your sales, upload new plugin updates, respond to pre-sales enquiries, etc.

Do I get new release updates for free?
Yes, you get all updates for free for your premium plugins as long as your subscription is active. In Matomo, go to Administration > Plugins to update your plugins in a few clicks.
What kind of support is included in a Premium Feature subscription?
We provide support for any Premium Feature that you’ve purchased. For non-premium features and Matomo core, you are welcome to post on our forums, reach out to our free support mailbox or if you need additional support you may be interested in a Support Plan.
